SCI-20™ Semi-Monolithic Side-Charge Competition Upper

Like its big brother, the SCI-20™ pushes the capabilities of our receiver design to offer the most stable, repeatable shooting platform for a small-frame AR. The SCI-20™ is the perfect platform for the dedicated action competition shooter or hunter. Built around our dedicated side-charge system, the awkward ergonomics of the standard top-charge T-handle are gone. In their place is a sturdier, non-reciprocating side-charge handle (available in two styles). This system not only provides superior leverage and ergonomics but eliminates the need to dismount the rifle during cycling, costing you a valuable sight picture.

The SCI-20™ represents the evolution of our original SCR-11™ side-charge design, adding all the advancements of our next generation receiver designs. The new integral hand guard nut corrects a persistent weak point in the AR design hindering accuracy. The thick-walled, integral nut of the SCI-20™ all but eliminates the possibility for barrel flex to achieve supreme stability. This is paired with our undersized ID and mandatory Thermo-Fit™ barrel installation. Receiver and barrel fuse into a single, unshakeable unit to tap the AR platform’s full accuracy potential, especially at long range.

SCI-20™ upper assemblies are available to pair with any existing SCR-11™ side-charge lower. Complete rifles are available custom spec’d from our complete lineup of components and options in our online Rifle Builder.
