  • Complete engineering and construction projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  • Develop project objectives and parameters by conferring with management.
  • Complete technical studies and prepare time/cost estimates.
  • Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determine project scheduling by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintain multiple projects simultaneously, monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems as necessary.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Communicate internally and externally beyond simple communication; the ability to put complex and abstract thoughts into writing is crucial.

Primary Duties:

  • Generating historical material usage data to produce accurate sales forecasts and determine inventory needs through QuickBooks Enterprise for Manufacturing exported into MS Excel.
  • Proactive ordering, follow-up, and expediting of products to avoid material shortages.
  • Producing detailed notes of vendor communication and order statuses.
  • Communicating changes in delivery schedules and potential problems during weekly purchasing meetings.
  • Coordinating between quality control, engineering, and suppliers to resolve problems of non-conforming material.
  • Verifying purchase orders match invoices for accounts payable and coordinating with the warehouse to ensure accurate, up-to-date inventory.

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills with an emphasis in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word
