Steve Adelmann is a retired Special Operations Sergeant Major with 21 years in the US Army. During his career, he completed 10 tours of duty in various combat zones, including multiple tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq as a SOF sniper. Today Steve is a freelance writer and custom gunsmith, using the skills and experiences gained through a highly active, distinguished and decorated military career to evaluate firearms products for his writing and to create high quality custom guns for his clients. While he’s intimately familiar with all small arm types, Steve’s specialization is precision rifle work.
