JP Tactical Compensators - Bennie Cooley Signature Series

In response to recent rule changes regarding compensators on rifles for tactical match use, we have developed an all-new recoil eliminator design. Rifle compensators used for tactical matches such as the SOF, WC 3-Gun and USPSA Limited Class must meet the new 1” by 3” size. In addition, some people prefer a slimmer, more compact configuration to their rifle compensator but didn't have a worthy alternative until now... Since we did not make a compensator like this, and most of the existing ones had serious performance issues, we set about solving that problem.

Top professional shooter, Bennie Cooley contacted us to develop a truly high-performance, match-legal tactical rifle compensator. With his valuable input, we produced a design that maximizes the potential of the size limitation while maintaining nearly the same recoil reduction and neutrality that has characterized the original JP Recoil Eliminator.

New larger high efficiency tactical compensator

We offer five versions of the new JP Tactical Comp suitable for M15 or various other applications, such as bolt guns.

And we now offer a new larger 1.2”OD tactical brake which provides the same level of efficiency as the original JP Recoil Eliminator for those who prefer the more conventional appearance of this style compensator. The “5” series tactical brakes come in both .875 and .925 back edge to make a precise blend to the most common barrel profiles much easier.
