Barrels
We offer our own line of barrels manufactured to our exacting specifications in a special configuration to mate with our components. These barrels are turned from the best 416 stainless alloy, button rifled using the most state of the art machines and cryogenically treated for cold bore shot predictability, minimum thermal drift, outstanding accuracy and barrel life.
With the 223/5.56 barrels, we have had great results with a wide range of projectiles from 40gr to 77gr in the 1:8 twist, and feel it’s the best overall compromise for the type of loads you are most likely to shoot. The 1:8 twist with the long projectiles has become the choice of most tactical rifle competitors.
Our standard chambering is the .223 Wylde as we feel it represents the best compromise between the SAAMI commercial spec chamber and the NATO type chamber resulting in peak accuracy with the widest variety of ammo at safe pressures.
Our Supermatch™ barrels are available in a complete kit with JP adjustable gas system and choice of JP recoil eliminator seamlessly fit and finished to the JP cosmetic standard of #400 fine polish, just as we use them in our rifles. If you prefer to buy just the barrel in the machine finish without the brake or gas system, this is a low cost option. The lathe finish will be similar to other aftermarket barrels you have seen. However, all are cryogenically treated and feature JP design contours. These are an outstanding value!
We also offer our latest caliber options of 204 Ruger and the 6.5 Grendel in complete barrel kits, but not raw barrels. Both kits come standard with the heat sink and the 6.5 G also comes with a bolt assembly.
We have all new entries in the 308/7.62 category also, featuring an 18” light contour with mid length gas system and a 22”medium contour. Both feature a 1 in 11.25 twist rate which will stabilize anything from 110 to 175 grains. We will also have a new heat sink for the .750 contour of our 308 barrels coming soon.

.223 Wylde Chamber BarrelOur Supermatch barrels are 416R stainless, cryogenically treated and available in the lathe finish without the recoil eliminator or gas system at a considerably lower cost. All barrels feature the JP design contours, making for an outstanding value. Please check out the heat sink options at the bottom of this page.
260 Remington & .308/7.62 Nato Barrel KitsOur Supermatch barrels for the 7.62 NATO and .260 Remington configurations are 416R stainless, cryogenically treated and available in the lathe finish for long action rifles such as the Armalite AR-10, the DPMS LR-308, and the new Bushmaster .308. These barrels will have the same performance features that have made our .223 Supermatch barrels so successful.
204 Ruger Barrel KitOur Supermatch barrels for the 204 Ruger is 416R stainless, cryogenically treated and available in a complete kit with JP adjustable gas system and choice of JP recoil eliminator or tactical compensator seamlessly fit and finished to the JP cosmetic standard of #400 fine polish, just as we use them in our rifles.
